Our Story
Our Journey: From Inception to Impact
From a vision to bridge disciplines to an international network of ambitious students – shaping the future one milestone at a time.
2025 — The Beginning
Founded in Bayreuth, Germany
A group of law and business students at the University of Bayreuth identified a gap between the two disciplines and founded ILBSF e.V. as a registered non-profit with the mission to bridge law and business on an international level.
2025 — Growing the Network
First International Chapters
ILBSF expanded beyond Germany, welcoming chapters from universities across Europe including Kings College London, Trinity College Dublin, and the Freie Universität Berlin.
2025 — Building Momentum
Lecture Series & Events
We launched our interdisciplinary lecture series, hosting leading academics and practitioners at the intersection of law and business – including our ongoing Olympics in Germany series.
2025/2026 — Going Global
9 University Chapters
With chapters at Uni Bayreuth, FU Berlin, HU Berlin, TU Berlin, Uni Heidelberg, Uni Marburg, Uni Bonn, Kings College London, and Trinity College Dublin – ILBSF spans Germany, England, and Ireland in its very first year.
